Hello and welcome!

Embarking on your counselling journey can be scary, daunting and a little worrying to start with. It may feel like the biggest step you have ever taken. However, you are ready to take the first steps into prioritising your mental health and well-being just by looking for your counsellor. I can offer you a safe, non-judgemental space where together we can explore your concerns, I will not only listen but hear you and support you to find ways to manage your emotions, worries and thoughts. In times of distress, upset, grief, sorrow, emotional turmoil we just need a little support to guide us through.

My counselling career began following a 17 year career as an NHS nurse, observing the impact that life events and illness have on us as well as our families and relationships. I have over 25 years' experience working in healthcare giving me excellent grounding and understanding of health and wellbeing and an ability to support you through your journey.

My aim is to help you overcome any barriers you feel are in your way of being the best version of yourself. I can help you become more aware of YOU, what's happening for YOU and how YOU would like to see YOU grow and develop. I am here to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with you and am looking forward to helping you grow.
